JUST RIGHT, LLC INKS CONTRACT TO REPRESENT GEORGIA OVARIAN CANCER ALLIANCE IN CAUSE-RELATED MARKETING EFFORTS

Greenville, SC (September 5, 2005) –
Greenville, SC-based cause-related marketing firm Just Right, LLCSM has reached an agreement to represent the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance in the development of fund- and awareness-raising cause-related marketing promotions.

Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, Georgia Ovarian Cancer Foundation (GOCA) was created to promote awareness among Georgia’s women and their healthcare providers of the risks, symptoms and treatment of the disease in order to save lives. Ovarian cancer is the deadliest of the gynecological cancers, occurring in one in every 55 women. Of the 23,100 women diagnosed with ovarian cancer this year and 14,000, or nearly 61%, will die. Striking women of all ages, the disease is rarely detected by available tests, including Pap tests, but with early detection and proper treatment, more than 90% of women survive longer than five years.
“We learned about Just Right through our sister organization in South Carolina, with which we network extensively for fund-raising and programming,” says Marjorie Rosing, Board Co-President, GOCA. “We were impressed with what Just Right has to offer in terms of extending our reach both in terms of awareness and fundraising, as well as their success with, and empathy for, the other non-profits they represent. We look forward to launching both Georgia-only promotions and promotions in concert with the South Carolina group, and to helping the thousands of wives, daughters, mothers and sisters who suffer from this disease.”
“We are extremely enthusiastic about the opportunity to represent GOCA on its own merits, but the chance to additionally combine our efforts for GOCA with those we’re undertaking for the South Carolina Ovarian Cancer Foundation (SCOCF) gives us an even more powerful value proposition to offer corporate partners,” says Just Right President and CEO Vicki Sharif. “As with the SCOCF, GOCA offers corporations the ‘halo effect’ that comes with an this type of organization, and from a sheer marketing perspective, the buying power and power of public opinion held by those potentially affected – every woman in the state of Georgia, and their families – is considerable.”
