NEW MARKETING FIRM HELPS CORPORATIONS DO WELL BY DOING GOOD; SEEKS UNPRECEDENTED RAISES FOR NON-PROFITS

Greenville, SC (June 9, 2004) – With corporate philanthropic dollars shrinking in the face of today’s highly challenging economy, Just Right, LLC is positioning selected non-profits to gain unprecedented funding by helping companies achieve their sales and marketing goals through unique cause-related marketing initiatives.

Just Right unites non-profits, consumer products and services corporations, and publishers and other media outlets in promotions that deliver deeply-discounted or goods and services to consumers through couponing or other redemption techniques. Within these promotions, redemption additionally incites a donation from the participating company to the partner non-profit.

“This concept is not a new one, with American Express at the pinnacle of cause-related marketing case studies,” says Just Right President and CEO Vicki Sharif. “During their seasonal campaigns to fight hunger, American Express donated a portion of each cardmember transaction to various hunger charities nationwide. The charities received millions of dollars in unanticipated funding, while American Express not only increased cardmember transactions and transaction volume, but also signed on new cardmembers, and gained acceptance at a great many retail establishments previously resistant to taking the card. It was a win-win-win for everyone involved.

“However, although this concept is not new, few corporations, media companies, or even non-profits seem to know where to start when it comes to leveraging these relationships for the mutual benefit of all involved. As career marketers with corporate experience all the way up to the Fortune 50 level and a diverse background in media and advertising, the Just Right team is uniquely positioned to provide both the alchemy and the execution for these ground-breaking promotions.”

Having only been in business since late 2003, Just Right has moved aggressively to sign four clients to its suite of non-profits, including the Chronic Vomiting Syndrome Association US/Canada, an association serving thousands of North American sufferers of a syndrome that produces life-endangering, weeks-long bouts of explosive vomiting; the National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association, representing the athletic programs and student-athletes of more than 200 faith-based colleges and universities nationwide; SAFE-SCHOOLS, a South Carolina organization teaching schools and children how to improve their own and other students’ quality of life through evaluation, participation, and application of safety, conduct, and behavior guidelines; and the South Carolina Gift of Life Trust, a statewide organization promoting and facilitating organ donation and donor education. Talks are currently underway on behalf of all four groups to produce major media promotions breaking in late 2004.

“We are extremely pleased and excited with our success to this point in earning the enthusiasm and support of our selected non-profit partners,” Sharif comments. “Our current stream of conversations with potential corporate and media partners is equally exciting, with all indications pointing to a number of big announcements to come over the course of the summer.

“In a broader light, society in general seems to have a much more compassionate bent in recent years, and through these unique promotions, consumers will have the opportunity to exercise that compassion in their everyday purchases. Our promotions will focus on providing a good deal for a good cause – what better combination could there be?”
